Where to Watch Fireworks

July 4th is on a Wednesday this year. Being in the middle of the week makes it more challenging to venture out of town for a long weekend. However, Houston offers many Independence Day events! Celebrate our country’s birthday in and around Houston – so many options to watch fireworks with family and friends!

City Centre – Venture over to City Centre for shopping, restaurants, as well as live music and a fireworks display!

Eleanor Tinsley ParkFreedom Over Texas Fireworks show is always a fun event to attend!! Lay out on a blanket, listening to Chris Young and The Mavericks perform! Afterwards enjoy the amazing fireworks display over the Buffalo Bayou!!


Hermann Park – ExxonMobil sponsors Summer Symphony Nights here in Houston. Enjoy the Star Spangled Salute while watching fireworks dance in the sky above Hermann Park!


Pearland – Inflatables, live music and a military salute are happening at the HEB Entertainment Stage at Pearland High School. Fireworks Show included!!


Webster – Visit Texas Avenue Park for games, live entertainment and fireworks!!

Woodlands – The Woodlands offer many 4th of July options!! A parade around Market Street will feature floats, clowns, marching bands and fire engines! Later in the day the 21st Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival showcases food, music, family activities and of course, fireworks!
